1. Take A Dump
An original composition written in 2002 and recorded at my home studio.
Features Andy Bickers on Saxophones
2. I Love A Piano (Extract)
This was an interesting assignment for Princess Cruises (Australia). The brief was to write 'Ballroom Waltz' style, to the tune of "I Love A Piano". Irving Berlin wrote the song in 4/4, so it was a fun challenge to write it in 3/4.

3. Rock Lobster Playoff
The best part about writing for production shows is that there is often the freedom to 'go nuts' that wouldn't be viable on a lot of commercial jobs. This is a playoff from a show called "Between The Flags" written for Princess Cruises (Australia).
4. Shout! Finale (Extract)
From "Shout! - The Legend Of The Wild One". This was an original Australian musical, first staged in 2001, based on the life of Australia's original rocker, Johnny O'Keefe. A mad experience of sourcing and arranging all of the material - when rehearsals had already begun! How this musical ever managed to make it to stage, let alone become the runaway success it became, still makes me wonder to this day. So in true form, I was writing the finale (Shout!) with about a week left to run in the rehearsal period. I asked "What's the brief?" to which I was told to "just take the bull by the horns and run with it". Thanks very much, the song only has 2 chords and is in 2/4 all the way. So here's the dance break, a small section of the final routine which ran some 8 plus minutes. Lead vocal is David Campbell and the excellent saxophone playing is Andrew Oh.
5. Your Grace Still Amazes Me
I arranged this song for Carols By Candlelight 2006. It was originally written and recorded for voice and solo piano but, being Carols, I was asked to flesh it out for the orchestra 'Christmas style'. The artist, Silvie Paladino performed the song wonderfully and went on to record it for a compilation Christmas album, with the Victorian Philharmonic Orchestra and Cantus Chorale.
6. Running Up That Hill
Arranged for Natalie Gauci, winner of Australian Idol 2007. A sort of hybrid version between the Kate Bush original and the Placebo remake.
